Iole is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and teacher.
Her work has been showcased at prestigious events such as OOTFest at Rich Mix in London, the ATLAS Program
at ImPulsTanz in Vienna, Dominio Pubblico in Rome, and the Inteatro Festival in Polverigi. Notably, she is the only
Italian dancer selected for the Dancing Together Again! Residency project in Georgia, where she developed the
first version of her work fOtO - from Off to On, presented in study form in June 2023 at Movement Theatre in Tbilisi.
Iole's international collaborations span across Europe and beyond. Since 2023, she has been involved with the IJAD Dance Company, South East Dance in the UK, Awa Dance Platform in Luxembourg, and the East Pole West Dance Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is also a current member of Chisenhale Dance Space in London and a Sadler's Well-supported artist since autumn 2024.
In recognition of her artistic work, Iole received several awards from 2021 to 2023, including the Performers category of the International Rome Dance Prize 2023, the Certificate of Merit at the Luxembourg Art Prize 2021, third place in the Premio Roma smArtPhone Dance with the video Madama, and was a finalist at the TWAIN Dance Production Centre 2022. Iole is currently involved in the CROSSING THE SEA project.
Iole graduated with honors from the National Academy of Dance in Rome. In 2019, she completed a Master's in Improvisation Techniques in collaboration with the National Academy of Dance and the Santa Cecilia
Conservatory, Rome. She finished her studies with an MA in Dance Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London.
