Melissa Lauriello is a dancer, teacher, and facilitator based in London. A graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, she has dedicated her career to developing a broad and adaptable teaching practice, making dance accessible to a wide range of communities.

In 2025, Melissa joined the inaugural Ailey Horton Teacher Training at The Ailey School in New York, immersing herself in intensive study of Horton Technique. She is committed to raising the standard of modern dance training in the UK and is passionate about providing high-quality Horton classes for beginners, pre-vocational, and professional dancers alike.

Alongside her Horton work, Melissa remains an active performer and versatile movement practitioner. She teaches barre fitness with Barrecore, offers yoga classes in both studio and community settings, contributes as a TV extra, and collaborates as part of the Chisenhale Dance Space Artist Community. Her teaching brings together precision, creativity, and inclusivity, aiming to inspire dancers at every stage of their journey.
