Weekly Classes

Absolute Beginner Ballet

Mondays 6:30-7:30pm w/ Iole

This class is geared towards those who have either never taken ballet or are returning from a long hiatus.  You will be (re)introduced to classical terminology and movement through a classical ballet barre giving you the opportunity to build core strength, mental and physical flexibility, musicality, and leg tone.  

Class will conclude with centre practice, which will offer you more freedom of movement and personal creativity. All in a warm, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Ballet Improver

Mondays 7:30-9:00pm w/ Iole

Ballet Improvers is the next step after Ballet for Beginners. The class will continue to build on classical ballet technique foundations, posture, body awareness and skeletal alignment. Having a basic grasp of classical ballet technique is recommended. Dancers are encouraged to ask questions and work at a place and level they feel comfortable with. If you require further information, please feel free to message the tutor. Wearing gym-like attire and dancing in socks or ballet flats is advisable.

Adv/Pro Contemporary

Tuesdays 10:00-11:30am w/ Nadine

For professional and advanced level dancers, this contemporary class will have a released based focus with elements of Cunningham technique and inspiration taken from the commercial dance world.Class will follow a similar structure each week, starting with a Gyrokinesis inspired warm up, before moving through a variety of technical exercises to address the whole body before ending with a phrase.
Aiming to prepare the body and mind for the day ahead.

Beginner Horton

Tuesdays 6:00-7:30pm w/ Melissa

Discover Horton Technique in this beginner-friendly class that builds dance from the ground up. Created by Lester Horton in the 1930s/40s, the technique develops alignment, strength, flexibility, and coordination—skills that support all styles of dance. We’ll focus on core movements like flat backs, laterals, and T positions, then progress to Horton’s signature fortifications and studies. With repetition, clear guidance, and supportive pacing, you’ll gain confidence, strength, and artistry.

'Bodies in Action' - Ballet for Contemporary Dancers

Wednesdays and Fridays 10:00-11:30am

This class is focused on creating an inclusive and positive space for professional contemporary dancers.  Everybody is welcome to engage in our ballet for contemporary dancers company class without regard to gender identity, race, body type or disability; diversity is something we pride ourselves on. We aim to provide a class that will allow the body to become more aware of its physical activity and how we can further develop and hone in on our skills as contemporary dancers.

Contemporary Improver

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm w/ Iole

This class invites you to move, connect, and awaken rhythm through contemporary dance blending technique and exploration. Rooted in Cunningham, release, and floorwork, it weaves dynamic crossings, phrases, and guided improvisations shaped by Iole’s distinctive touch. You’ll play with momentum, texture, and flow, expanding coordination and expression. Open to movers with some experience, each session nurtures rhythm, body awareness, and freedom through a living dialogue of technique and artistry.

Beginner Contemporary

Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm w/ Iole

This class invites you to explore movement and its connections, focusing on the principles and introduction to contemporary dance.
Through a blend of exercises, crossings, and actions, we will explore the concepts of flow and momentum. This is an opportunity to build strength and rediscover the body's potential through movement.

Classes will cover the fundamental concepts of the main modern and contemporary dance techniques, including release, floor work, Cunningham, and more.

General Level Ballet

Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm w/ Isla

This open-level class welcomes dancers of all backgrounds, whether you’re returning to ballet, building confidence at the barre, or looking to refine existing skills. Isla Roebig creates a supportive and encouraging environment, balancing strong technical foundations with musicality and flow.

Open Level Contemporary

Fridays 12:00-1:15pm w/ Chloe

Join Chloe Bowman for an energising and explorative contemporary class open to all levels. Grounded in release-based technique and guided improvisation, this class invites dancers to connect breath, weight, and flow through dynamic movement phrases. Chloe’s teaching emphasises musicality, individuality, and presence — creating a space where beginners feel supported and experienced movers can deepen their practice. Expect a thoughtful balance of structure and freedom, culminating in expansive, expressive choreography that celebrates movement in the moment.

A joyful introduction to movement and music, this class nurtures creativity, coordination, and confidence through playful ballet-based activities. Isla Roebig guides little dancers in exploring rhythm, balance, and imagination in a warm, supportive space where learning feels like play.

Designed to build on early movement skills, this class introduces simple ballet positions and patterns through storytelling and games. Isla Roebig encourages focus, expression, and a love of dance while helping children develop musicality, posture, and confidence in a fun, engaging environment.
